Progressive Capacity Pumps operate on the principle of positive displacement. These pumps comprise of a precision mechanized single external helix metallic rotor that is located inside a double internal helix elastomer stator. When the rotor starts to rotate inside the stator, cavities gets formed. The liquid gets pumped in from the suction end of the pump, and is carried along the spindle of the stator through the formed cavities towards the discharge end of the pump.
